Temecula Valley's Destination Running Event! It's our 29th year!
Come run or walk this challenging course through Maurice Car'rie Vineyard and enjoy Temecula's scenic wine country and experience the great restaurants, places to stay and things to do in the valley. The course consists of rolling hills on the vineyard's dirt roads and trails. Sections of the course have loose dirt and hills. Be prepared for a challenge!
Please note that the course is not suitable for strollers.
5K & 10K Run -There is Online Registration for 10K, 5K, 2K per person per race-the price is 10K=$40, 5K=$35, 2K=$10. To register go to active.com and the Online registration closes on April 20th at 12:00 pm(NOON) or when the race is sold out, whichever comes first. You may also register on Race Day at the site, however, there is a price increase for the last minute registration. Races are professionally timed. If you have a team of 5 or more runners running together, you will receive a $5 discount.. There will be a commemorative plaque given to the largest team running. There will be parking across the street at the Calvary Chapel parking lot.

Pre-race Packet pickup - Avoid the stress of getting your race items on race morning. Pre-registered runners can pick up their race items on Friday, April 22 between 10 am and 12 noon at the Running Center 28751 Rancho California Road in Temecula. If you are not registered yet, you may also register during this time on Friday, Apr. 22.
April 23, 2016 - RACE DAY registration - $45 per person per race for both 5K and 10K- Registration will take place in the Barn at Maurice Car'rie the day of the race at 6:30 am. T-shirts may be available for $5 at late onsite registration, but there is no guarantee for shirts or sizes.
2K Kids Run - (children ages 5 to 12) $10 - Every child will be timed with a timing chip. T-shirts are not available in children's sizes for the 2K. Parents may also register themselves to run in the 2K with their children if they wish.
Teenage(ages 13-18) Teams of 4 or more special pricing-If a group of teenagers form a team, select a team name and captain, the price per teen will be $25. All teams' names must be turned in together to get special price.
Team Challenge - Five or more runners may register as a team in the 5K or 10K events with a team captain and a team name. Run as a family, a business, a club, or other friends in fitness. The largest team entered will receive a plaque.
Start times: 5K - 7:30 am / 10K - 8:00 am / 2K-8:15 am Kids or adults fun run
Commemorative awards to all age division winners both male and female 1st. 2nd, 3rd place winners in 5K & 10K
Additional Information - NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Event will take place RAIN OR SHINE! It is best to arrive an hour before your race begins if you have not picked up your packet on Friday.
Refreshments - Free water and refreshments are available for all runners, their supporters, and our community volunteers at the food station. Water is always available at our Water Stations on the race course.
All registered adults will have the option to purchase a quality T-shirt with a unique 2016 art contest winner's design for Run Through the Vineyard at the cost of $5 per shirt..
Presented by the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club's Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your participation supports our local educational literacy projects, high school leadership program, scholarships, safety education for children, the community Christmas dinner, and a new one The Soap Box Derby. It also helps eradicate the deadly polio virus from the world with the Rotary "PolioPlus" project. Fights starvation with the "Peanut Butter" project. Gives a student new hope and job skills to bring back to a home village, or improve the lives of whole communities with clean water or other village service projects.
In our community, we prepare kids to better handle life's dangers with our "Safety Town" for ages 5 to 8 (see separate page for details). Local projects encourage learning and leadership for junior high and high school youth, academics and the arts with our scholarships for academic merit and community service; art, music and speech competitions; and youth leadership training programs; and Teacher of the Month recognition program for local teachers. We support and plan the Christmas day dinner for over 2000 people in the local area.
